Conference & Events Staff / Bar Staff Glasgow, Scotland
Job description
Glasgow University Union are looking for staff to join our core Conference & Events team.
This is a varied role working different types of events - from banquet dinners and day time conferences, to drinks receptions and bars, with bar work being a substantial part of the job. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, and should be hard working, reliable and able to provide excellent customer service.
Experience in a similar customer facing role is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
Hours are as required dependent on business, and can involve day and evening shifts. Shifts typically always involve a combination of Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, though more shifts are available. We also offer a staff meal during café opening times, and subsidised taxis home after 11pm.
Interviews will be taking place at the beginning of October.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Salary: £10.90 per hour
