About Us
Rockliffe Hall is an AA-rated 5 red star resort in the north of England and is set within 375 acres outside the village of Hurworth, near Darlington in County Durham. We aim to provide an outstanding personalised service to each guest who stays, spas, golfs and dines and with us, acknowledging special occasions and making them memorable for all guests. We are currently seeking a Concierge to join Team Rockliffe!
The Role
The main responsibilities of the Concierge role will be (but not limited to):
- Meeting and greeting all guests to the resort in a friendly, approachable and professional manner
- To assist guests with their luggage. This will involve lifting and carrying luggage to rooms.
- To provide a seamless valet service; parking and retrieving guests’ vehicles when required
- Dealing with any guest requests and requirements positively and efficiently, this may include hiring transport, recommending restaurants, arranging flights and booking theatre tickets
- Have a thorough knowledge of the resort’s facilities, services, special events and promotions
- Be familiar with the local area, amenities and giving directions
This role will require the applicant to hold a full clean driving licence. The successful applicant will be required to work shifts. Early shifts start at approx. 6:45am and the late shift finishes at approx. 11:00pm.
The ideal candidate will have Concierge experience working in a 5* hotel environment and will have a passion for driving the team forward.
