About the Role
Our Dukes Golf Course plays host to an outstanding 5* Championship Golf Course, situated on the edge of St Andrews. The club has an excellent reputation with a range of facilities on offer to its members and guests. As we approach high season, we are currently looking to add a number of seasonal Greenkeepers to support with the maintenance and development of the golf course, it’s facilities and surrounding estate.
Duties and Responsibilities
· To implement daily work programs as devised and instructed by the Head Greenkeeper.
· To assist in daily course set up, including - divoting, raking bunkers, changing holes, blowing, strimming, weeding and mowing playing surfaces.
· To ensure personal protective equipment and uniforms are maintained to the standard required.
· To regularly assess play and traffic areas on the course; pedestrian and vehicle access routes and reporting any areas of concern.
About you
We’re looking for committed Greenkeepers to support our team during our high season, from April or May until October. You’ll be a committed individual who enjoys working as part of a team but can also work independently, following daily work programs. Ideally, you will have your NVQ Level 2 or be working towards this qualification however, this isn’t essential.
Salary
This is a casual contract working a flexible shift pattern, between May and October, with a competitive hourly rate up to £11 per hour depending on experience. There will be an element of weekend working and unsociable hours to this contract.
