Same Day Geek is a well established IT company based in Surrey and Langley offering technical services to both commercial and private clients – from large multinational corporations to local home users.
We are looking for an IT FIELD desktop contract technician to provide service to our clients. Our ideal candidate is capable of dispensing highly skilled support on a wide variety of applications across multiple platforms, while providing excellent customer service.

Our Ideal Technician would have:
Internet and Network troubleshooting skills
Good knowledge of Windows server software
Full knowledge of Windows 7/8.1/10/11 - Windows Desktop Support (printers, networking, virus removal, computer and email setup, backup, etc.)
Exchange and IMAP email client configuration, MS Outlook
Knowledge of Macintosh OS is helpful
Drivers License and reliable car
A+ or other certification or good experience
And from a personal standpoint:
Excellent English communication skills, both written and oral, are extremely important.
You should be able to effectively communicate with customers who come from a wide variety of backgrounds.
Fast learner, well organized, detail oriented, proactive and self-motivated problem solver.
Honest, reliable, punctual, and must possess a good work ethic.
Sales ability is appreciated and an asset.
Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Freelance
Part-time hours: 8 per week
Salary: From $50.00 per hour
