Job Description: As a Mobile and Computer Repair Technician at iRepair, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality repair services to our customers. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets (iPhone, iPad, Android), as well as computers (MacBook, Windows laptops, desktops). Your expertise in soldering motherboards, screen replacements, battery replacements, and solving complex technical issues will be essential to the success of our repair center.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a variety of mobile devices and computer issues, including but not limited to: Soldering and motherboard repairs. iPhone, iPad, and MacBook screen replacements.
  • Battery replacements for mobile devices and laptops.
  • Troubleshoot and fix software-related problems.
  • Provide high-quality and efficient repair services while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest mobile device and computer technologies, repair techniques, and industry trends.
  • Utilize various tools, equipment, and software applications to perform repairs and diagnostics effectively.
  • Communicate with customers to explain repair options, provide estimates, and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts inventory, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in mobile and computer repair, with a strong focus on soldering motherboards, screen replacements, and battery replacements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Proficiency in spoken English is required to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Familiarity with a wide range of mobile devices (iPhone, Android) and computers (MacBook, Windows) is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality repairs.
  • Technical certifications or training in mobile and computer repair is a plus.
