Computer Science Day time Tutor Face to Face in Romford
Job Summary
Tutor Doctor, one of the world's largest providers of one-to-one Private Tutoring services, is looking for experienced tutors with a passion for their subject that can pass on their enthusiasm to those who struggle with it. We are looking for, in particular, GCSE Computer Science Tutor available Monday or Tuesday 9-10am and Friday 12:15-13:15.
- Students: Typically for Secondary core subjects (KS3, GCSE,) students, that aren't currently in school
- Exam Prep: GCSE & Functional Skills
- Looking for daytime tutors to fill 1 to 1 tutoring with school clients for catch up work due to missed school

Responsibilities and Duties
- Delivering 1:1 tutoring sessions at the student’s home, library, school
- Preparing and delivering tutoring sessions to best meet your student’s academic needs and goals
- Clarifying and teaching subject matter
- Assessing students’ knowledge on a regular basis
- Being a mentor to students
- Completing a session report within 24hrs of the tutoring session, detailing what you have done in that session.
Qualifications and Skills
Key Requirements:
- You need to have at least completed your Graduation
- A resident of London borough of Havering, Romford or close by
- Must have a good idea of the syllabus, as followed by popular Exam Boards (Edexcel, AQA, OCR)
Our ideal tutors:
- Are qualified teachers / experienced tutors / Teaching Assistants / have a Bachelor's degree
- Have good knowledge and understanding of the school curriculum
- Have previous Teaching and/or Tutoring experience
- Care about helping their students improve and achieve academically.
- Have excellent communication skills.
- Are flexible, organised and reliable.
- Have access to own transport or public transport to travel to students’ homes

Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Salary: £15.00-£25.00 per hour
