Their current project is about creating a system where surgeons can collaborate with a shared 3D digital model, in real time, to facilitate better cross team participation on cases. The idea is to make the 3D models as realistic as possible, where each party can view a 3D model representation of the actual patient being reviewed. Their goal is to make 3D medical imagery so easily accessible that it becomes routine throughout the world and available to everybody, globally.
