Background to the Post
Warwickshire College has an excellent reputation for vocational education & training. This, coupled with the continued success of industrial partnerships with national and local construction companies. In our determination to further develop both our service and responsiveness to local, regional and national industry we are seeking an enthusiastic individual to work closely with the work based team to develop industrial links, provide pastoral support and workplace assessment within Construction Work Based Learning.
We are now seeking a motivated and organised individual who can liaise with both employers and learners to assess their competencies within the workplace. This post will be based at our Royal Leamington Spa College.

Our Royal Leamington Spa campus delivers various specialisms from Hair & Beauty to Games Art & Design. As well as these courses we also have an onsite Bistro where some of our students complete their catering courses. We offer a broad range of career opportunities including teaching and support roles.
Essential Attainments:
- Qualified at Level 3 (e.g A levels)
- Experience working in a data management role in education
- Experience of inputting to and reporting from electronic database driven software
- To demonstrate an understanding of the higher education regulatory bodies
Desirable Attainments:
- Experience of recognising potential inaccuracies and of accurately identifying their causes
- Experience of working flexibly and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Ability to research information, verify and interpret results, apply and communicate findings
- Ability to deliver complex information clearly and effectively in written reports
- Good problem solving and investigative skills
- Qualified at Level 4 or equivalent
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- The ability to think clearly and analytically
- Excellent organisational, administrative and communication skills
- A range of technical skills and abilities relevant to the job role
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of staff at all levels within the organisation
- Ability to see projects through to completion, showing attention to detail
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of Equality & Diversity
- Ability to demonstrate an understanding and knowledge of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
