Job description
We are a fast paced trucking company that ships cross border into the US and back into Canada daily.
We are looking for an in house customs person to handle all day to day customs requirements. Dealing with PARS / ACI manifests & PAPS / ACE manifests, the understanding of T&E bonds, ITN / 72 hour used vehicle exports & preparation of A8A in bond documents. We move a lot of freight off the Port of Tacoma, so part of your job requirement would as well be working with the Port to acquire the necessary ROD's in order to both pickup and deliver freight to the Port. You would be working with the drivers as well ensuring that whenever machinery in being picked up, you are confirming they are picking up the correct / VIN #'d machinery items so we don't have issues after the fact. You would also be answering our multi-lined switchboard along with the rest of the staff and answering all emails associated to the necessity of your customs clearance roles.

Fluent in English both in reading and writing
Reliable and trustworthy
Strong communication and listening skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities
Very well organized and handles time management well
Able to problem solve and anticipate opportunities where you can assist when not necessarily asked.
Hours will be Monday to Friday - 8 AM - 5 PM
Preferably at least 1 years employment dealing with customs clearance procedures.

Salary: $5000 / month gross
We offer a full benefits package after 3 months.
We offer a gas card ( allowing 1 fuel purchase per week ) after 3 months
