About the Role
Base Location: New Forest, Poole, Portsmouth or Aldershot (South Coast Area)
Salary: £25,703 - £29,879 + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: 8-month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for providing excellence in customer support and guidance by keeping our customers informed through each step of their journey with SSE.
You will be managing their needs and expectations by completing follow up calls and final customer calls upon completion of work to ensure they are satisfied, and escalating any instances of dissatisfaction.
You will also be answering inbound calls from customers assisting with any adhoc queries.
Other responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Ensuring the customer is ready for work to begin, ensuring our systems are kept up to date with the latest scheduling information.
- Act as a point of contact for keeping the customer informed of progress.
- Ensuring SLA's and standards are met.
- Respond to emergency events including severe weather as required and be available to support during these times.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate with a variety of people at all levels, both written and verbally.
- Experience of complaint handling would be an advantage.
- Experience managing various demands within a regulated business through strong planning and organisational skills
- Good computer skills
- A basic understanding of the Distribution Energy Sector would be an advantage.
