Job description
Paying £35k - we have a great opportunity to join the UK division of a highly successful global services company as an Accounting Compliance Manager. This is a pivotal role in the organisation and you will support the MD, operational teams and site managers in the control of site-based labour and key compliance activity. This role can be predominantly home-based with occasional travel to the Greater Manchester office as and when required. Working within a supportive & friendly organisation, your duties will include:
- Support operational teams in the coaching and interpretation of business results
- Ensure that labour percent to sales is maintained and improved and that core site manager compliance activity, and associated controls are achieved consistently
- Implement processes for accurate reporting, forecasting and control of site-based labour
- Implement controls and processes to support Site Manager compliance on core activity
- Provide Regional/division support on debt and billing
- Support new and existing sites (where required) with training on core compliance and control activity to ensure 100% compliance
- Work collectively with other Labour and Compliance Business Managers to understand issues and provide recommendations to ensure negative trends are reversed
- Work closely and in partnership with the finance team on compliance activity/best practice
We are ideally looking for applicants with previous accounting experience with an excellent understanding of report building. A strong level of Excel is required and a detailed understanding of supporting operational teams is essential.
