Join the Close Brothers Compliance team where you will be responsible for conducting compliance monitoring (including financial crime monitoring) across the Banking Division, both on a desk basis and via site visits.
Working as part of the Compliance team, our ideal team member will have previous experience of effective delivery testing or compliance monitoring with excellent attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with preparation of the annual risk-based compliance monitoring programme for the Banking Division
- Undertake appropriate preparatory work ahead of on-site visits, consulting with relevant business areas as required
- Take the lead in conducting monitoring reviews as agreed with the Compliance Monitoring Manager, operating to a high degree of autonomy to deliver monitoring reviews or leading a small team of other testers allocating responsibilities and maintaining oversight and assignment control for effective delivery
- Produce high quality monitoring reports in a timely manner, clearly identifying issues and required actions
- Present report findings to divisional senior management, including in some cases presenting, with conviction, well founded findings to act as a catalyst for business change
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
- You have experience of effective delivery testing or compliance monitoring
- You have knowledge of PRA and FCA rules, especially Consumer Credit and Conduct of Business regulations relevant to Banking
- You have knowledge of the Money Laundering Regulations, Bribery Act requirements and other financial crime matters
- You are a strong written and verbal communicator
- You have a high degree of analytical proficiency, working with large volumes of data from various divisional IT systems
