Job description
Are you a Graphic Designer looking for an exciting opportunity to work within a talented Creative Department? With an established mail order business and substantial retail site, we are looking for an enthusiastic Graphic Designer to join our family business and support the delivery of our ambitious plans. Working within our creative team, you will be contributing on a wide range of projects from branding and signage to catalogue design and advertising campaigns in magazines and newspapers. You must appreciate quality and the importance of brand integrity, designing within brand guidelines to tight deadlines whilst showing initiative and creatively solving any problems that may arise along the way.
This position is permanent and offers full time hours from Monday to Friday. A qualification in Graphic Design or 2 years relevant industry experience working as a graphic designer would be essential and up to 2 years experience is desirable.
Key areas of responsibility:
You will be working with internal stakeholders (Buyers, E-commerce, Retail, etc.) to produce advertising/marketing materials, packaging projects and POS for the retail departments while keeping the current archives organised and up-to-date. You will also provide assistance on the Mail Order Catalogue design.

- Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly focussed on InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- An understanding of colour profiling for magazines and newspapers.
- Excellent colour appreciation and the ability to edit and colour correct images for use in advertising or catalogues.
- Ability to analyse briefs and work independently on projects.
- Creative flair and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- An adaptable and flexible approach, adjusting priorities to meet deadlines.
