The Community Support Officer role includes being part of a team that deliver high profile initiatives including:
- the nationally recognised Golden Age programme for older people,
- projects which help build confidence and resilience for residents in our communities to help improve health & wellbeing.
- delivering services for the community including the support & management of our 5 Gypsy Traveller sites
- management of tenancies for properties ringfenced for refugees
- the annual Pride in Fenland Awards celebrating volunteers within the district.
- unlocking external funding opportunities for community-based work.
We offer flexible working, a one team environment and the opportunity to work with a range of public sector partners to deliver initiatives and services for people in Fenland.
