Bookkeeping/Office Assistant
Delilah’s is looking for an office/bookkeeping assistant to help with the organisation and running of the business. This is a part time position and seasonal. Salary negotiable depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will be hard working, able to undertake a variety of office support tasks, work under pressure and to deadlines. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention, accuracy and discretion.
Responsibilities include:
Creating and updating office records, sorting and distributing communications in a timely manner, taking bookings by telephone and email, monitoring and responding to emails, recording and processing staff records, managing sales and purchase ledgers, monthly bank reconciliations, payroll preparation, cash handling, monitoring office supply levels and re ordering, responding to any requests or issues which may arise and maintaining good working relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues.
Skills required:
Experience working in an office environment, working knowledge of office equipment & software, excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to work to deadlines, proficient IT skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience of working with sales and purchase ledgers (desirable), knowledge of Xero software or similar (desirable) and experience of cash flow and forecasting (desirable).
