Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a community based phlebotomist to join our locality to support the DN and Anticoagulation teams and housebound patients with their venepuncture requirements.
The successful candidate will be able to work autonomously, managing their own workload (with support) and have a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle for work purposes.You will be expected to visit patients in their own homes to take required bloods tests and deliver them back to the collection points in a timely manner.
This is a part time role working 24 hours per week over 4 days.
Full training and support is offered
Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
To work proactively as a member of the community nursing team.
