Job description

We have a fabulous opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Phlebotomist to work with the Integrated Community Team within the community nursing teams in Swadlincote.

Hours of working would be between 8:30am and 4:30pm; over 5 days; Monday-Friday.

The post is full time, however, part time hours will be considered for the successful applicant.

Our team focusses on providing excellent patient-centred care to people. Therefore, it is essential that you have a keen interest and experience in phlebotomy.

Our purpose is to provide community health services to a patient population of over one million people in Derbyshire and Derby, as part of Joined Up Care Derbyshire.

We employ around 4,200 substantive staff, caring for patients in 11 community hospitals and more than 30 health centres, as well as in clinics, GP practices, schools, care homes and, increasingly, in people’s own homes and via virtual consultations.
