FullFibre is recruiting Community Engagement Officers who will play a pivotal role in increasing the visibility of the Fibre Heroes ISP agnostic brand in the communities we serve and nurture potential customers in readiness for Partner ISP-led sales activities.
No previous experience in telecoms or sales is needed, and extensive training will be provided.
What will you be doing?...
- Building quality relationships with a variety of community organisations in FullFibre towns
- Directing the sponsorship of local events and activities that support the brand
- Running branded events and activities with the support of the FullFibre Marketing Team
- Liaising with the Regional Build Team to support the scheduling of build activities in areas where the need is greatest and to feedback on any concerns raised by residents
- Working closely with Partner ISPs to identify opportunities for sales-driven activities
- Promoting the benefits of moving to full-fibre broadband at events and door-to-door with a view to generating leads.

- You are flexible and happy to work some evenings and weekends
- Positive and confident communicator, face to face but will also be comfortable talking to groups of people
- Presentable, polite, and capable of gaining people’s trust and attention
- Able to work to and achieve targets set for you
- Well organised, good at diary management and timekeeping
- Comfortable going into unfamiliar settings including making occasional unsolicited house calls
Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications needed…
- Knowledgeable about the area to which you have applied for
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Hold a full UK Driver’s license
- Experience in the broadband sector is desirable
- Experience in either sales and or similar community roles is desirable
- Experience in nurturing strong and lasting relationships with community groups and/or councils is desirable

- Salary £20,000 to £25,000 PA Depending on experience
