Community Care Worker - Central Bedfordshire
Areas: LU5 & LU6
Full time and part time community care positions available in Dunstable and Houghton Regis areas.
Drivers with UK Full Driving License with the use of their Own Vehicle is the Basic Criteria for applying the position
Due to the nature of the role and the geographical area, only carers that drive with use of their own vehicle will be considered. Non drivers WILL NOT be considered for this position.

APT Care provide care to the elderly within areas of Central Bedfordshire. With a fantastic team of passionate and professional carers, our staff support people with their everyday routines, enabling them to remain at home for longer; supporting people to sustain their independence.
APT Care are looking for new full time carers to join our Central Bedfordshire community team; supporting elderly clients with their everyday care needs within their own homes.
- Ensure clients receive their medication on time
- Support clients who can’t move on their own
- Help clients dress, bath, eat etc.
- Assist clients with physical therapy exercises
- Cook meals according to the customer’s restrictions
- Help customers with their shopping
- Do necessary housekeeping to maintain a clean environment
- Provide emotional support
- Inform physicians or supervisors about uncommon events
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

- Rolling weekly rota
- Competitive hourly pay
- 2 weekly pay
- Postcode based rotas to LU5 or LU6
- Low traveling distances / Low mileage between clients
- Paid annual leave
- Fixed weekly days off and working every other weekend
Full induction training available with updated refreshers training regularly. Carers have the option to complete their NVQ Level 2 and/or Level 3 post probation and will complete the 'Care Certificate' upon joining.
