Abbots Care is an award-winning domiciliary community care company in Hertfordshire with a CQC rating of outstanding. Our community-based support care workers provide care to our service users within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible.
We are seeking kind and compassionate individuals to join our ever expanding team! We have been providing support and care within the community since 1995 to various different service user types including children and the elderly.
The role of a care assistant is extremely rewarding and fulfilling, with many opportunities to develop within your career at Abbots including paid NVQ qualifications and job progression.
As we are not currently able to provide sponsorship you are required to have your own right to work in the UK in order to apply for this role.
Previous experience in care is not necessary as paid comprehensive training is provided by our Inhouse training department.
Our pay rates are £12.00 per hour weekdays and on weekends are increased to £14.00 per hour, with working hours between 7am-10pm. Shift patterns are 7am-2pm & 4pm-10pm including alternate weekends.
We also offer part time and full contracts of up to 40hrs per week with high salaries of £24,586.00 per annum (£11.82ph)

The Role of a care assistant includes:
- Support with social activities

Due to the nature of the role and being community based in and around St Albans you will need to have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle, as well the right to work in the UK.
