Job Description: We are looking to expand our team of RF Engineers & Technicians and invite candidates looking for a career in television outside broadcast to apply for the above position.
The role of Base Engineer provides engineering support in our equipment test areas as well as assisting with development and job preparation.
Candidates should have some experience in RF technologies such as Wireless Cameras, Comms and RF Audio. A keen interest in IT, mechanical/electrical engineering, electronics and broadcast is also ideal. Training in specific RF systems will be provided.
Reports to: Head of Engineering
Location: Based from the Broadcast RF office in Dartford, Kent.
Main Responsibilities:
Testing and preparation of Wireless Camera, RF Communication and Radio Mic systems
Maintenance and repair of equipment
Filter Tuning & Antenna testing – Use of Network/Spectrum Analysers
Development Work
Some on site work
Skills Required:
Experience of RF equipment/systems
Interest in TV technologies, media and live broadcasting.
Good computing/I.T. awareness.
Excellent attention to detail.
Works well within a team.
Ability to use your own initiative and manage time effectively.
Holds a full UK driving licence.
Interest in TV technologies, media and live broadcasting.
A full UK driving licence is required for this role.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent Contract.
Starting Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience
Hours: Primarily 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm but with expected weekend work and other additional hours. Overtime or time off in lieu provided.
