Aerotron Composites is a privately owned company, one of a number of successful aviation companies in the Aerotron group. At our new site in Chatteris we manufacture composite aircraft components for a number of major aerospace manufacturers. We are currently expanding our manufacturing capacity and in 2022 will launch new repair capability for airlines within a new build extension of our current facilities.
Job Purpose
To provide a thorough, professional cleaning/housekeeping service to Aerotron Composites
To maintain cleanliness in all office/factory/shop floor areas
Main Job Activities
- Work in accordance with the schedule set by the Line Supervisor
- Empty & wipe bins when required
- Clean work benches/shelving/racking/doors
- Sweep, mop, vacuum or buff all designated areas
- Daily cleaning of all designated toilets
- Wash, wipe, dust, and polish all designated areas
- Clean corridors, staircases, internal windows & window ledges as required
- Empty outside bins
- Daily sweep up in respective outside areas
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the Clean Rooms
Performance Standards (targets, objectives, etc)
- Maintain a professional approach to all cleaning duties ensuring hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
- Ensure deadlines are met for each area, maintaining a regular cleaning & housekeeping provision to all areas
- Ensure all Health & Safety rules & procedures are adhered to, including the use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required to do so
- Flexibility of hours as required
- Any other reasonable duties as required
- Fully comply with company policies including Health and Safety at all times
