About the Centre for Research Equity:
The CfRE is a new, non-profit coalition of community advocates, pharmacy teams, researchers, pharma and health industry professionals, academics, and regulators. Our mission is to advance the understanding of and improve inclusive research practice and community engagement in health and care research.
The work we do revolves around providing support and training for research staff to increase health equity, evidencing the benefits for community-based recruitment and clinical trial / research design, and promoting inclusive community engagement, involvement, and participation in research. Our guiding principles are equity, inclusion, relevance, and rigor.
