Job description
Become our new Communications Officer working 15 hours per week, and join our creative and exciting NHS Charity in this new role. As our Communications Officer, you will be responsible for Plymouth Hospitals Charity's day-to-day communications, including running our social media channels, editing quarterly newsletters, writing press releases, and maintaining our online presence. You will aid the charity in raising awareness and strengthening our position in the community.
You will be hard-working and motivated, with a keen eye and attention to detail. You will confidently be able to source a good story and communicate it to a variety of audiences, really supporting people to share their experiences, as members of staff, patients, and family members. Your skills will shape the relationships people make with the Charity and you will interact with people from all walks of life.

Preference will be given to internal Trust staff, as well as 'Priority' and 'At Risk' status including NHS at Risk staff throughout Devon who is able to display recent relevant experience as dictated by the Person Specification.
