We’re looking for a Communications Intern to join the Siemens Mobility Limited Corporate Communications team for at least 12 months. You will be an essential support to the entire business and team and will work on exciting projects that will build your communications and business skills and be given the flexibility and autonomy to develop your thinking.
Your base would be Euston, London with a minimum of three days a week in the office with some UK travel required throughout your internship.
The Challenge
- Working in a fast-paced communications team, supporting the team in the day-to-day activities
- You will have the opportunity to develop your written and oral communication skills to reach a range of audiences including; internal, customers, the media, businesses and politicians
- You will develop a deep knowledge of how to use and maximise all the main internal and external communications channels
- Supporting the delivery of communications activities to deliver key messages
- Supporting with internal and external event execution and logistics
- Supporting social media plans across a range of platforms including Yammer, Twitter and LinkedIn
The Candidate
We are looking for innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following:
- You are a proactive self-starter and willing to put your ideas forward.
- You will have a passion for learning more about communications in a corporate environment.
- You will be an excellent writer and adept at communicating complicated concepts simply.
- You will demonstrate critical thinking and analysis, be willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
- You can work independently, take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
- You enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
- Studying towards or have achieved a 2:1 or above in your degree
