As the Manager of Global Brand Trust Communications, you will help create and manage the perceptions of one of the most recognized brands.
You will bring your excellent communications/PR skills to help create, develop, manage, and execute global communications priorities and insights-led plans across paid, earned, and owned channels reaching and engaging with defined audiences (e.g., opinion influencers, community influencers, consumers) with creative excellence in mind, focused on earning Brand Trust globally. Critical to the success of this role will be your ability to partner with McDonald’s market Impact teams to co-create approaches and solutions that amplify and scale local trust activities while aligning to one global strategy.

A Week in the Life of a Global Brand Trust Manager
In partnership with the Director, Global Brand Trust Communications and team – develop, manage and execute a compelling global trust-driving strategy grounded in brand actions and persuasive and creative paid, earned and owned communications.
Lead major external campaign elements and activations that are buzz-worthy and uniquely McDonald’s.
Manage agency partners, driving collaboration, prioritization and insights-driven bold creative ideas.
Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners and key stakeholders, including but not limited to Communications/Impact, Marketing, Digital, Operations, Legal and Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
Work with the North America, international and market Impact teams to ensure buy-in, alignment, and integration of global trust-driving activities.
Collaborate early and often with content and PR teams responsible for developing compelling content and creative that articulates the company's purpose and brings its leadership platform to life across a range of channels.
Work closely with internal Insights team and agency partners to manage and measure audiences as well as awareness, persuasion and trust metrics to ensure strategies are moving the needle.
Nimbly adjust strategy and creative thinking on projects as needed and as the environment shifts.
Bring enthusiasm and a collaborative mindset to all assignments, no matter how minor.
Complete all routine administrative functions (e.g., expense reports, budgets, etc.) in an accurate and timely fashion.
Some travel may be required, domestic and international.
Expertise in effective ways of reaching and engaging key audiences (opinion influencers, community influencers, consumers)Undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or another related field
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related McDonald’s experience
Background working with creative agencies including management of agency resources
Familiarity or interest in campaign reporting and measurement
Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and requests simultaneously in a deadline-focused, dynamic environment
Creative thinker with solid experience moving from conceptualization to execution of new ideas
Proactive and solutions-oriented
Strong attention to detail, self-starter, and great teammate
Curiosity and drive to develop a deep knowledge of the McDonald’s business and system
Ability to influence others, including strong negotiation and change management skills to effectively manage internal behavior/mindset shifts in a complex matrixed environment
Excellent writing, presentation, and public speaking skills
