About the role
This is a newly created role and an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a passion for engaging employees in a dynamic professional services environment.
We are looking for someone who is a proactive, collaborative, and pragmatic team player to support the planning, development, and delivery of all internal communications, and work with our Marketing Manager and People Director to create an internal communications strategy.
You will play a crucial role in promoting effective communication, ensuring the delivery of a consistent tone of voice, brand message and brand identity, fostering employee engagement, and enhancing the overall internal culture across multiple channels in Moorhouse.
This includes drafting comms and liaising with other teams to create and deliver content, according to a comms calendar. You’ll help to identify how to use internal communication channels to ensure our people are kept informed of initiatives, key business information, and are engaged in the business.

This is a part-time opportunity, working 14 hours per week role. It’s a hybrid role, working remotely and in our office in London.
Key responsibilities will be varied and will include:
- Collaborating closely with senior management and department leaders to identify key communication priorities, initiatives, and opportunities.
- Creating and delivering impactful internal communications content, including company-wide announcements, email communications, intranet content, and executive communications.
- Developing and maintaining effective communication channels, including digital platforms, company meetings and employee feedback mechanisms.
- Partner with the People & Talent team to ensure internal communications initiatives support employee engagement, talent development, and change management efforts.
- Working with internal working groups such as ED&I, (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion) Culture, Growth, and others, to nurture and support their ongoing success.
- Supporting and drafting content
- Planning and delivering internal comms to support internal engagement and internal events.
- Liaising with other departments to coordinate, manage and deliver the internal comms and events calendar throughout the year.
- Support Marketing more broadly with ad hoc projects, the Alumni programme, initiatives, and campaigns as required.
- Ensure alignment with the PR calendar for other internal communications.

In terms of specific skills and aptitudes for this role:
- Experience working in internal communications, preferably within professional services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging messaging.
- Strong understanding of internal communications best practices, including change management, employee engagement, and cultural alignment
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Desirable project management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
- To be flexible, manage ambiguity and adapt successfully to changing situations.
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-focused
- You must be passionate about brand, marketing, and communications.
- You must be proficient in all MS Office packages, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Package & location
- A total cash package of up to £21,000 per annum based on 14 hours comprising of a base salary of £19,000 (the full-time equivalent salary is £47,250 per annum) and a combination of personal and company bonuses enables all our people to share in the success of the business. Bonuses are reliably paid every six months..
- Study support package
- 25 days’ annual leave increasing by one day for every full year of service to a maximum of 30 days (pro-rated)

- Our offices are near Liverpool Street Station and although we operate in a hybrid working environment, you would be expected to work in the office from time to time, a minimum of once a week.
