Job description

Do you have a passion for communications and love attention to detail? Do you like the sound of working in a busy communications office where no two days are ever the same? This could be the job for you! We have an exciting opportunity for a band 3 communications assistant to join a team who are dedicated to delivering high quality communications through a variety of digital and non-digital channels. You will need to thrive at working to a high standard and supporting a team who work in a fast-paced environment. The post holder will specifically assist with the delivery of internal and external communications including social media campaigns, website uploading, event planning and staff engagement activities. To support the communications team in the implementation and evaluation of the Trust communications in promoting and enhancing the reputation of the Trust. To support the running of the press office in relation to national, regional and local media enquiries and provide comprehensive administrative support to the head of communications and communications manager as appropriate. To support the communications team in the proactive research and publication of positive news relating to the Trust and its clinical services. To support the day-to-day management of Trust’s website and intranet ensuring that corporate content is reviewed and updated on a regular basis. To assist in implementing communications plans.
