Job description
We are passionate about great food and prepare everything in house to a high standard using fresh ingredients, local produce
You will work closely with the head chef assisting them with the day to day running operation of our busy kitchen. You will be responsible across all sections in the kitchen and maintain our high standards of food and food safety. You'll provide mentoring and training to the junior members of the kitchen
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean working station whilst adhering to health & safety standards
- Assist with the cleaning and organisation of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all food hygiene & safety standards
Additional Duties:
- Recording food temperatures
2 years experience is preferable
Initially a 6 month position with a view to extending. Available either on salary or hourly. Salary (£16,000 per annum plus bonus dependant on experience).
