You will be responsible for supporting the line technicians in the safe, effective and efficient running and operation of the production lines. This could involve decanting bulk Spices into production hoppers, palletising various sized cases of finished product or completing product changeover and cleaning tasks. Whilst maintaining health, safety, food safety and quality standards at all times. You will be working with the integration team of the packing lines to create great ways of working in this department. You will be expected to champion and drive Westmill’s key values and behaviours.
So who are we looking for?
You will have a demonstrable track record of working within a team and using your own initiative to drive performance and be reliable with an excellent work ethic. You will also need to be flexible to complete various tasks on an ad hoc basis. Proactive thinking and a positive approach are also important attributes to be successful in this role. You must have a flexible approach to working our rotating shift pattern of AM shift (6am-3pm) and PM shift (3pm-11pm) Monday to Friday. At times, there will also be the opportunity to work additional hours before and after shift as well as at weekends.
