Responsibilities:- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the supervision of a chef or senior kitchen staff.- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining experience for customers.- Assist in supervising and training junior kitchen staff members.- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations in the kitchen.- Contribute to menu planning and development of new dishes.- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.Requirements:- Previous experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment is preferred.- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology.- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Note: This is an entry-level position with opportunities for growth within the company.
