Description
Our Risk Practices team in London continues to grow. Dedicated to the provision of key insights, research and business analytics to clients, prospective clients and within the business, to aid and inform decision making; This unit works in conjunction with multiple teams across Lockton. As a Graduate within the team, you will therefore gain an excellent breadth of exposure to risk and insurance.

The core area you will operate in will be bid/project management. Lockton has been investing and growing at a substantial rate and as such our Request for Proposal (RFP) pipeline has increased significantly and will continue to do so. We therefore require a graduate to support our project management specialists with bid /tenders to help us support the growth of our business.
Project Management for Bids & Tenders includes new business and defensive exercises, as well as strategic challenge reviews. The team supports our producers and account teams, both in the UK and across Lockton Global, with our specialist expertise across areas such as placement, data analytics and risk control. There is also liaison with the design team, to ensure we are continually producing high quality material.
This role has real scope for an individual to add value to the business.
Role Responsibilities (in support of experienced Project Management associates):
- Developing, managing and enhancing the relationship with the business / prospects/clients
- Working closely with the relevant specialists, understanding the client’s business issues, needs and expectations
- Utilising with the wider team, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of tender responses as agreed with the client/ prospect and producer
- Challenging and supporting the account team around RFP messaging and deliverables to ensure we are focused and clear in our articulation
- Co-ordination between teams and senior leadership throughout the RFP process
- Analysis of performance pre and post each RFP
- Prioritisation of RFP / review opportunities
- Close liaison with graphic design team on workflow
- Ensure that the RFP processes adheres to compliance process
- Supporting pitch teams with presentation feedback and potential client questions
Candidate Profile
Requirements:
- Strong team player who can work closely with both the business and other members of the team
- Flexible, reliable and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- The ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing
- Formulate and maintain strong relationships internally and externally, managing time, prioritising and ensuring that deadlines are met without compromising quality
- Professional and tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives
- Strong attention to detail
- Good organisation skills
- Experience using IT proficiently, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Educated to degree level
