The Quilter Strategic Partnerships (SP) team form part of the Commercial and Propositions function at Quilter and are responsible for the commercial relationships and oversight of Quilter strategic partners on behalf of the Quilter platform and asset management businesses (Quilter Investment Platform Limited (QIPL) and Quilter Investors Limited (QIL).Strategic partners include fund groups, distribution platforms, risk mapping agencies and discretionary investment managers (DIMs) that offer managed portfolio services (MPS). The core objectives of the team are to provide a holistic overview of Quilter’s commercial footprint with fund groups, including investment sub-advisers, to identify opportunities to leverage commercial enhancements.
Additionally, this highly performing team, provide value for Quilter customers in terms of competitive pricing and accessibility to a broad range of funds via the appropriate channels, focused engagement with fund strategic partners to garner and share strategic insights for dissemination to internal stakeholders, and consistent and focused governance including oversight and reporting,
They ensure business risks can be identified and mitigated by undertaking due diligence of strategic partners and negotiating robust legal agreements, and leadership in the strategic development of the QIPL fund range.

The role is designed to assist the Strategic Partnerships team in delivering its objectives. Primarily the role will include, assisting the team with the on-boarding of new funds to the Quilter and external platforms, communicating with fund groups, discretionary investment managers and the Distribution team to provide on-boarding updates.
You will be providing administrative support as required in relation to negotiations and execution of associated legal agreements and amendments, tracking the progression of fund requests and legal agreements, and providing administrative support to the Due Diligence Manager in the fulfilment of Quilter’s due diligence responsibilities relating to strategic partners.
You will also be providing support and services for key strategies, projects and initiatives when required, and will be the first point of contact and responsible for the day to day management of the team mailbox.

You will have strong communication skills, ensuring that written communication is concise and well presented and that processes and outputs are well documented and identifiable for audit purposes, and be confident in having difficult conversations with internal and external stakeholders.
As this is a busy role, you will enjoy effectively managing your time and productivity and be comfortable asking for support when needed, and have a key eye of detail and be able to work either independently or as part of a team,
You will also need to be able to use all programs in the Microsoft Office Suite, and have strong communication, numeracy, and literacy skills.
