Job description
- Managing proposition development, alongside a sales counterpart, for high investment deals with prospective partners and renewals with existing partners of Formula 1
- Working closely with internal departments to ensure Formula 1’s commercial inventory is appropriately and proportionately offered to clients
- Developing term sheets (Heads of Terms), ensuring they address both key partner objectives and delivering sufficient margin to Formula 1
- Attending and contributing to meetings and workshops with clients during the sales process
- Helping to close partnership deals with a smooth transition from commercial terms to long-form agreements, working closely with Formula 1’s Legal team
- Ensuring smooth handover of new partners to the Partnership Management team for ongoing support
- Monitoring and reporting on developments within the wider sports industry, with a particular focus on Formula 1’s sponsorship and licensing proposition
- To complete all mandatory training within specified timelines.
- To operate safely at all times in line with Company health and safety requirements.
- To undertake other duties within your capabilities as your Department Manager or Team Manager may assign to you from time to time.
- Strong understanding of commercial sport.
- 3-5 years experience working in a similar role, either within sport or comparable industry.
- Track record of developing and delivering successful branded/sponsored content for commercial partners.
- Experience of leading or playing a key role in closing high value partnership deals.
