Commercial Manager - Consumer Distribution
The Consumer Distribution Team leads activity on behalf of Commercial that will support delivery of the MTP and Consumer Strategy in the mid/long term. Key areas of responsibility for the team:
- Development of strategic recommendations to evolve our distribution channels
- Commercial support for structural changes in propositions developed by Marketing (including EE Match Fit)
- Support delivery of digital channel shift and omni-channel outcomes.
- Support in the development of the commercial strategy for our channels in relation to transformational programmes and structural change in our propositions portfolio over the next 12-18 months
- Use commercial analysis, intuition and expertise to break down problems and develop recommendations
- Identify and size the commercial implications of a business change
- Develop the outcomes and KPIs that will measure commercial performance of a strategic initiative
- Build out a view of the enablers required to support the delivery of agreed commercial outcomes, working cross-functionally to secure buy in for the execution of these
- Support in development of business cases for strategic initiatives
- Develop and gather insight to understand the evolution of consumer channel preference, competitor distribution approaches, third party strategies (e.g. affiliates, social channels) to input in to the development of strategic recommendations already developed or for the future
- Present updates to senior cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong commercial acumen and financial literacy
- Influencing and relationship building skills across a range of stakeholders inc Finance, Channel Trading, Commercial Planning & Trading, Marketing, Digital
- Experience supporting the development of commercial strategy
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify opportunities and risks with reference to customer life cycle
- Being a change agent, adapting quickly and delivering change effectively.
- Strong analytical experience
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with ability to demonstrate delivery of desired commercial outcomes
- Commercial context – understanding market implications from commercial approaches
- Telco experience
