What is the Commercial Graduate Scheme?
Our Renewables Commercial Graduate scheme is a fantastic opportunity for Graduates who’re passionate about the renewable energy business.
Over this 3-year programme, you’ll learn from experts, develop a commercial understanding of the renewable energy sector and complete placements supporting of commercial, strategic and analytical business decisions.

Recent graduates have worked on projects such as:
Supporting the growth and expansion of the EDF Renewables Solar Team and leading on developing new propositions as part of energy solutions- Supporting a project to flex heating systems usage outside of peak periods in council blocks, using smart tech to save money for customers
- Taking a key role in investment analysis and financial modelling for EDF’s first Renewable energy project in Ireland, ahead of Final Investment Decision, presenting findings to senior stakeholders.

Where you’ll work:
You will be based out of our state of the art offices in either: Durham, Dublin, Edinburgh, Doxford or London, with agile homeworking opportunities. We’ll be on hand with practical and financial support if you relocate. We offer a great work/life balance to support people’s personal lives whilst giving them the opportunity to network and learn.
What you’ll need to apply:
2:2 Bachelor’s Degree (obtained or expected) in any discipline, although degrees such Environmental Policy, Finance or Maths would be of specific interest- An understanding and passion for the renewable energy industry
- Commercial understanding, analytical abilities, communication skills and a talent for leadership
- Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and thrive in fast-paced environments
