About The Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Dairy business as a Commercial Finance Lead. We are looking for someone to join the team and help us to continue to grow our fantastic business with 50 years of heritage. This role forms part of the GB Leadership team, a team made of up of functional leaders which are responsible for ensuring we deliver top line growth, grow market share and deliver against our profitability targets. The Commercial Finance Leads report to the divisional Finance Director with line management responsibilities.
The purpose of the role is to ensure the GB business delivers on it’s strategic, commercial and financial objectives by partnering the Commercial Director and other functional leads. You will use your analytical skills and commercial acumen to influence stakeholders in financial and business decision making. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of our business objectives through the provision and interpretation of key commercial management information.
Kerry Dairy Consumer Foods UK head office operates a hybrid working model, the successful candidate would be required to work from our office in Egham on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
What will I be doing?
- Provide financial leadership within the GB Leadership team, influencing decision making through the interpretation of financial insights and analysis
- Ownership for weekly and monthly performance management – reviewing performance, setting targets, managing risks and opportunities. Responsibility for the delivery of accurate commercial forecasts.
- Proactive margin management across both our Branded and Private Label product portfolios, ensuring we have the right product mix, pricing strategies and business model to support growth of our business.
- Ownership for the financial evaluation of new business opportunities and the development of innovation business cases, providing a view on scale of each opportunity and the associated risks.
- Play an active role in developing strategies to grow sales volumes and value, improve business profitability and optimise efficiencies across the business.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement and seek best practice across our processes and ways of working.

- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and that internal controls are in place and maintained to mitigate business risk
- Coach and develop both finance and non-finance individuals to ensure everyone across the commercial team can maximise their potential and perform their roles to the highest standard
- Show real passion, energy and excitement for growing our brands, developing our categories and identifying opportunities against new and emerging food trend
What do I need to be successful?
Essential
- Commercial business partnering experience in a similar role is a must.
- Qualified Accountant with a CIMA or ACCA professional qualification
- Strong relevant business experience
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to influence and challenge decision making
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desirable
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferable
- Experience using Power BI, SAP and Qlik are preferable
