Job description
To support the Finance team, we are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst to join Leeds Bradford Airport, to join our growing Commercial Finance team, supporting the Head of Commercial Finance to deliver commercial insight to support business growth
Main Responsibilities
- To ensure that the Finance Team is supported in delivering the overall team objectives.
- To represent the airport with all key stakeholders in order to establish and maintain an outstanding reputation for the highest possible standards in all aspects of the department.

Creating and producing regular reporting of KPIs of the whole business to support management decisions with a key focus on passenger numbers and revenue streams.- Providing commentary on key trends including passenger numbers, spend per head, ATV etc.
- Taking ownership of headcount reporting and working with the business to understand any areas of challenge
- Building and implementing data analytic/BI tools using Access or Qlik to provide detailed trend analysis on current year trends, vs. prior year, budget and forecast
- Improving current 5 Year financial plan model through automation and simplification, to allow ease of use, sensitivity modelling and integration with the budget / forecast models
- Supporting the quarterly forecasting process, from building quarterly model using robust data through to business partnering
- Business partnering with Finance and non-Finance colleagues
- Working with our IT team to support the data strategy roadmap specifically through adoption and use of Access Dimensions within the Finance team
- To ensure that the Finance Team is supported in delivering the overall team objectives.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and longer-term strategic planning across the company
- Taking responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of reporting and making improvements to ensure all reporting is timely
Person Specification
- Advanced Excel is essential including strong financial modelling skills and report building experience
- Knowledge of Qlik, Access or other data analytics software skills
- Qualified (CIMA/ACMA/ACA)
- Commercial Finance experience preferable
- Strong interpersonal skills to build key relationships with business partners
- Ability to interpret financials into meaningful insight
- Good commercial awareness
