COMMERCIAL EXECUTIVE ROLE
We have a great opportunity for a Commercial Executive who will assist Commercial Director and Account Managers in finding business opportunities and developing customer relationships within core grocery customers and alternative channels.
Key responsibilities:
- Communicating effectively with other departments to deliver the overall business strategy (Production, Procurement and NPD)
- Attend daily production meetings where required
- Support NPD process with use of market and category knowledge
- Identifying new opportunities and recommending actions to improve margin
- Running daily sales reports for customer analysis
- Running Kantar reports, maintaining coding files and creating presentations
- Maintain category price basket and gain market intel through store visits
Knowledge, Competence, Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Proven experience as an Commercial Executive, or similar sales/customer service role
- We welcome applications from recent graduates with the right aptitude and enthusiasm to learn
- Commercially astute and numerate
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships
- Pro-active and ambitious attitude
- A passion for food with some understanding of the key principles of short shelf life chilled food is advantageous
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
