Position:

Commercial Coordinator

up to £28,000 per annum ( dependant on experience)

Hours/Working Pattern:40 hrs per week - Monday-Friday - either 8.30 am- 5 or 9am - 5.30pm

Location:Remote


As a Commercial Coordinator at Appello you will be responsible for ensuring all Appello customers have contracts set up for legal and billing purposes.

You will be reconciling data and liaising with Accounts to ensure billing data is correct for all Appello Monitoring customers. You will also ensure that there is no missed billing by setting up and maintaining robust processes.

We would need you to provide regular analysis and reporting based on business & customer requirements across a wide range of data sets.

You will reporting to the Customer Success Manager.


Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A good general standard of secondary education.
  • GCSE Grades A-C or equivalent or NVQ Level 2/3.
  • A business related qualification is desirable.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven track record in coordinating business services/requirements and
  • communicating at B2B and B2C level and an understanding of good business
  • practice is essential. Highly effective & professional written and verbal communication.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Advanced Excel skills are fundamental in this role alongside good level of skill in Word & Outlook.
  • SQL would be advantageous.
  • The ability to interpret and handle data utilising databases and Excel is essential:
  • Formulas to include:

o VLOOKUP

o COUNTIF / COUNTIFS

o SUMIF / SUMIFS

o IF

o CONCATENATE

  • Pivot tables
  • Conditional formatting
  • Creating macros / basic VBA
  • Working with data:

o Filtering techniques (a ‘keen eye for detail’ is required to effectively analyse data)

o Formatting data

o Working with tables

o Text to columns

o Defining names

  • Protecting worksheets / cells
  • Charts

Core administration skills including letter writing, confidential minute taking and organisational skills are required. In addition, some advanced Word skills are recommended:

  • Mail Merge
  • Tracked changes
  • Compare
  • Outline numbering
  • Formatting text (including Styles)
  • Table of Contents
  • Headers and footers (including page numbering and working with Sections)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Knowledge of personal alarm equipment and monitoring services is desirable.
