Job description
- Use your knowledge and experience to build and manage a portfolio of deposit clients in the professionals sector inclusive but not limited to Legal firms, Accountancy, Insolvency Practitioners and Professional services.
- To build and relationship manage a network of firms for introducer business, including contractual relationships.
- Generate new deposit business of a minimum of £25m plus of net new deposits from research, cold calling, using sector contacts and self-developed business from own network.
- Help to cross sell other banking products including day to day banking, treasury services and lending
- Be a focal point for professional services.
- Develop and enhance relationships across the Arbuthnot Latham business to assist in delivering the level of liquidity required to support lending growth.
- Be the face of AL in the external market for Professionals vis attending conference and other relevant networking.
- Meet & exceed stretching new business goals, that are tracked and reported through CRM.
- Ensure that you operate within the required risk, stewardship and AML framework.
- Successfully represent the Bank externally and internally.
Key Responsibilities
- Help the business to build and manage its liquidity to best affect.
- Self-source new deposit business in the Professionals sector – hit and succeed agreed targets.
- Ensure that KYC/AML responsibilities are adhered to.
- Monitor deposit portfolio to understand and be proactive with maturity profile.
- Be the face of the Professionals team externally for Arbuthnot Commercial.
- Liaise with Compliance to ensure controls are effective.
Client Service
- Client Management/developing good client relationships key to role.
- Managing performance of yourself to help deliver demanding business targets and ensure unwavering commitment to client service excellence.
- Developing relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Managing a high value deposit portfolio with particular focus on its impact on the P&L and the Balance Sheet.
- Take overall responsibility for your risk and regulatory performance when assisting with client acquisition.
Risk
- Responsible for managing risks inherent to the role by diligently observing internal policies and procedures.

Knowledge / Experience
- You will have a successful background in Commercial/Corporate Banking and Liquidity acquisition, with broad experience across the financial services industry and detailed knowledge of the commercial/corporate business market
- Commercial Banking experience dealing with Owner Managed independent businesses and Institutions
- Track record of delivering compliant AML/KYC in terms of on-boarding
