Position Summary

To support the rapid growth of the Under Armour brand in the Northern Europe region, focusing on the UK and Ireland, we are looking for a highly motivated Collections Specialist who can effectively manage the Accounts Receivable portfolio for the Key accounts in the UK and Ireland region and ensure that all customer payments are received in line with agreed payment terms. The right candidate will be a team player with strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, and a passion for the UA brand.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

include but are not limited to the following:
  • Manage the general ageing of the Accounts Receivable portfolio for accounts and achieve overall corporate targets.
  • Frequent telephone and email communication with customers as part of the general cash collections process.
  • Ensuring proper maintaining of the customer master database, especially managing the addresses, VAT ID numbers, contact persons and their email addresses and Direct Debit data,
  • Portal Billing Billtrust: ensure that all customers are recorded and follow up on any demand or queries from them.
  • Follow up the review of credit limit with our Credit Risk team each season.
  • Clean up demand from customers in the AR mailbox and support the team during the holiday.
  • Ensuring timely running of the Direct Debit program in conjunction with the cash apps department
  • Work closely with the claims and dispute department enabling them to resolve any occurring dispute or claim.
  • Support the cash application specialist by obtaining customer payment information in a timely manner.
  • Other financial and administrative support duties deemed necessary.

Education And / Or Experience

include but are not limited to the following:

  • 2-year post-education experience, preferably in an Accounts Receivable position.
  • College level education.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience in SAP preferred.
  • Knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong numerical skills, high attention to detail.
