We’re an independent museum in the heart of Cambridge uniquely dedicated to exploring and sharing the stories and histories of Cambridgeshire for the people of Cambridgeshire.
Working closely with the Engagement Manager, the post-holder will be responsible for implementing a programme of work that will inventory, and catalogue a storage space at the Museum of Cambridge, while meeting Accreditation standards of best practice.
This is a temporary role to support the delivery of an inventory and gallery re-display project at the Museum of Cambridge. This project will work to reopen a previously closed gallery space to the public. As well as support with addressing the inventory and cataloguing project of part of the Museum of Cambridge’s roughly 40,000 objects.
This role is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund Museum Making Project, which starts January 2023.
