Collections Officer (Hybrid)

On your day to day, you will:
- Help move our client’s growth plans along with the timely collection of weekly invoices.
- Shape their continuous improvement by defining, creating and refining processes to manage the debtors with the goal of maximizing collections.
- Build relationships with your customers through regular contact via email and phone calls.
- Work to targets and your success will be transparent to all areas of the business.
- When members are no longer in our client’s vehicles, you’ll make them aware of any outstanding amounts owed to them. You’ll discuss this with them and negotiate win-win outcomes, maintaining a strong partnership for the future.
- Join a growing team in the UK and gather a global view of the company through your line manager (Joel, Head of Collections) based in Australia.
- Add notes on your customer interactions to the CRM.
Our client is looking for someone who:
- Is experienced in a Debt Collections role, for a minimum of 12 months (must have).
- Can quickly build rapport and trust with people, particularly over the telephone. You’ll communicate with clarity and empathy.
- Is a quick and adaptable learner when it comes to technology; this is used to record interactions with customers and track key success metrics.
- Is a master of negotiation, problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Has great at time-management,
- Has a high level of attention to detail.
- Is a fan of autonomy and has plenty of initiative.
- (desirable) CICM/CSA qualified.
- (desirable) experienced in asset finance and/or rental products.
