The Bridge Inn Exmoor LTD is a small business in Dulverton. We are professional, fast-paced and supportive.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a busy bar or restaurant and will be able to effectively manage the needs of both customers and the venue. Previous experience in hospitality is desirable but we are willing to provide training to the right candidate.
The responsibilities of this role are:
- Food Preparation- You will be making and preparing certain foods to contribute to the menu. Some light cooking is involved.
- Preparing Plates- The kitchen is split into two working sections, hot and cold. This role involves working on the cold side and preparing plates and some dishes ready to be passed onto the hot side. These include dishes such as salads, baguettes, burger buns ect.
- Desserts- You will manage serving and plating desserts whilst keeping a high quality of presentation.
- Cleaning Duties- You will join the team in making sure the kitchen is kept to a high standard of cleanliness at all times.
- Deliveries- You will be in charge of putting away deliveries whilst also stock rotating, quality control, and also checking invoices. If you find any issues you must report them to kitchen management.
You will be in charge of the cleanliness of your own station throughout and until the end of you shift, whilst making sure you follow your list of jobs to complete!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
Salary: £10.51-£11.50 per hour
