We are looking for positive, outgoing, enthusiastic, and energetic waiting on staff to work at our fast-paced high street café in Beaumaris – Jollys and also Ruby Maes Ice cream Parlour. We are on the picturesque Menai strait and offer a wide variety of quality coffees, dessets and light lunches.
We are looking to fill roles which are Permanent, seasonal, full time and part time, we can work with you!
If you have no experience, we can help train and develop your skills in our industry.
Our local business is built on its uniqueness, with all our venues offering something different, and still managing to hold on to that family feel. Our current venues are Pier House Bistro, Hydeout BBQ and Smokehouse, Tredici Italian Kitchen, Jollys Coffee and Patisserie & Tredici Butchers and Deli, Dockshack, Ruby’s Ice Cream Parlour and our new POP up at the Baths. We aim to deliver a casual dining experience based on quality of produce and customer service. We are also recruiting for many roles across the businesses.

As we reopen after covid restrictions it’s an exciting time to join our family. We are opening new sites, developing our teams, training, and staff culture.
As a member of the waiting on team you will be responsible for ensuring that all customers, experience good service by greeting, taking orders, advising on food choices, serving food, courtesy checking and preparing tables. You will be responsible for making the customers feel comfortable, welcome and at ease. We also want you to be a team player, enjoying work with like minded people in an environment that’s more than just a job!
Requirements
- To greet customers, engage in conversation, escort to tables, and make their day happy!
- To present menus, and take orders for food and drink, making suggestions where appropriate.
- To serve food and drink following the relevant standard operating procedures.
- To deal with bills and payments
- To make sure tables are clean and tidy at all times.
- To ensure high standards of cleanliness in the front of house and food preparation areas where appropriate
- To work in a team to ensure all customers get the best customer service.
- To keep the working environment clean and tidy.
- To ensure all supplies are kept stocked.
- To demonstrate a good knowledge of the menu, wines, and beverages.
- To demonstrate the values and behaviours of the company at all times
- You will be required to work split shifts, evenings, and weekends.
Skills
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Have high standards of personal hygiene.
- Need the ability to remain calm and polite under pressure.
- Desired to hold the relevant food hygiene certificate.
- Need the ability to work well as an individual and part of a team.

This is a rewarding challenge, and our servers can expect up to £10-£15 tips per shift.
