Coffee Shop Assistant
Working 25 hours a week
Newcastle upon Tyne

We are changing the way we interact with customers throughout our stores and transforming our catering proposition. This is a role for a Coffee Shop Assistant, with a thirst for success, someone who is committed, enthusiastic and enjoys a varied workload, taking great pride in working front-of-house on a daily basis.
Based in our Newcastle Store, you will able to demonstrate your ability to deal with customers in a polite and professional manner striving to deliver the highest levels of customer care and service at all times.
What you’ll be responsible for: Helping to build the next-generation Boundary Outlet Experience!
- Dealing with customers in a polite and professional manner
- Assist in preparation of hot and cold foods ensuring that all items are prepared, packaged and labelled correctly to a high standard.
- Providing assistance in the serving of beverages, cakes and toasted items.
- Ensuring orders are dealt with courteously and efficiently, cutlery and condiments readily available and tables cleared and ready for use.
- Be a confident communicator with the ability to work as part of a team
- Assist with the general housekeeping of the Coffee Shop
- The possession of a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial
- Experience of a similar position is preferred but training will be given.
