About us:
Gower College Swansea is one of the largest colleges in Wales with a strong reputation for high quality teaching and learning. We have six campuses across the city with over 4,500 full time learners and 10,000 part time learners. We currently have a turnover of over £50 million making us a major employer in the region with approximately 1,000 staff.

The role:
- PartTime, 10 hours per week & Permanent
- £16.33 - £18.99 per hour
- Swansea, SA5 4HB
Key Responsibilities:
- Train, coach and assess learners providing high standards and professionalism from diverse employment sectors.
- Work with employers to diagnose, support and implement training solutions to meet the needs of the organisation
- Provide a seamless learning experience that develops the individual and aids skills improvements often specific to the employment sector to include QCF NVQs, apprenticeship frameworks, academic, endorsed and bespoke programmes.
- Work within a team of trainers, assessors and internal verifiers to support and drive quality assurance and excellence that meet the requirements the awarding bodies and ESTYN.
About you:
- Level 5 qualification in management / business related discipline
- TAQA Assessor Award or equivalent (or willing to work towards)
- Proven track record of working in a leadership & management role.
