We are currently recruiting for brilliant new apprentices to join our Signalling division in Swindon!
Join the Colas Rail Level 3 Rail Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Scheme today to jump start your career and begin to provide you with the technical skills that you will need to realise your potential. The duration of the scheme is between 2 and 3 years, dependant on your specialism; whether this be OLE, Signalling, Traction & Rolling Stock or Track. As an apprentice with Colas Rail, you will be enrolled on the Level 3 Rail Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Programme and you can expect to be working closely with our experienced engineers and management on improving the UK rail systems. As part of your apprenticeship scheme you will attend block release training to learn the more advanced skills of your technical specialism and throughout your programme we will support you with all the technical training that you will need to become a competent engineering technician. We will give you the opportunity to continuously learn and develop your skills and knowledge, with the goal to helping you achieve Engineering Technician status with a relevant professional institution.

Person requirements
We're looking for enthusiastic and determined people who can work both independently and in a team. For all our Apprenticeship Programmes, we are looking for a minimum of a Grade C / 4 in Maths and English, and the ability to stand out either through previous work experience, extracurricular activities etc. We are also looking for apprentices who share our ethics and behaviours, but are not afraid to look at ways in which we can continuously improve.
