About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Placement Student to join our Finance Team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following :

- Analysing accounting issues & preparation of journal entries.
- Internal & External Audit process support.
- Correct recording of payroll, overheads, rents, pre-paids, liabilities and other expenses.
- Supplying invoice & billing backup for recharges to Business Units.
- Assisting with monthly accounting close process & US checklists.
- Bank account monitoring and preparation of Bank reconciliations.
- Prepare Bank transfers and some ad hoc payments.
- Submittal of UK Payroll files into BACS.
- Clearance of suspense accounts
- Maintain Internal Billing System details.
- Proactive and diligent support to other team members
- Preparing reconciliations for some General ledger accounts
Required skills, qualifications and experience
- Working towards degree in Accounting, or associated Finance / Business discipline
- Demonstrated experience or interest in accounting and finance
- Demonstrated experience performing analysis and interpreting data
- Attention to detail
